How to care and clean our cast iron Grill Pans?
The secret of keeping the cast iron pan non stick and in good condition is the way you clean and store it, follow 3 basic steps and the pan will last you a lifetime.
1. After using the pan rinse it under lukewarm water (not soapy) if there are some stuck on pieces of dirt you can gently scrub it until clean.
2. If there are some hard stuck on pieces you can use a few tablespoons of oil and same amount of salt to scrub clean your pan and that will remove any remaining residue then just rinse the pan again until clean.
3. Then dry the pan well using a paper towel or clean cloth.(make sure not to leave any water on it as that will cause it to rust, then coat the pan with a thin layer of oil that will ensure it stays nonstick for your next use)
